Dive into The Plastiquarium with David Edgar

Thursday, June 6th, 5-8pm

Meet artist David Edgar…master recycler, and creator of decorative artworks from recyclable detergent bottles. Making recycled plastic art truly energizes his creative spirit, resulting in the marine creatures of The Plastiquarium. Working with these consumer-based recycled materials results in expressive, uniquely crafted and affordable artworks. The pieces are colorful, lightweight and durable. Oh, and they help save the planet too!

  • David will demonstrate how to make one of his  famous recycled flowers (see below).
  • Meet Robin Edgar, David’s wife, who designs earrings using the tiny, unusable yet colorful plastic pieces leftover from David’s sculptures.
  • Purchase their book, Fantastic Recycled Plastic and have it personally autographed!
  • Meet other local artists whose work focuses on recycling and enjoy wine and light refreshments.
