Fabric Covered Journals      Sweeten things up with new journals and planners from Counterspace Bindery.  The covers are wrapped with vintage fabrics, pillow cases or even pajamas!  SAVE THE DATE   We have something  spectacular in store for you this summer!     On Thursday, June 6th, David Edgar, the creator of Plastiquarium, will be on hand to demonstrate how he turns useless plastics into treasures.     He will also sign copies of his book,  Fantastic Recycled Plastic!   Connect With Us                          Foundry 92 Charlotte Street Asheville, NC 28801   828-255-2533 info@digfoundry.com   Hours:  Monday - Saturday, 10-6                                                      Our Spring Window (although it's sleeting as this is being written!)      We may never want to see a piece of brown kraft paper again, but it was worth it!  We twisted discarded packing paper, glued it together and painted it green.  And then..... amazing plastic bottle flowers by Green Art Studios adorned the jungle vine.       Flowers are approximately 12" in diameter, on 2' tall wooden dowels and are sold individually.  They are truly spectacular in person!     New Artists!      From Skrapmonkey:    Krazy combinations of scrap-yard finds.   He takes all kinds of discarded metal pieces and artfully welds them together into sculptural planters, candle holders, or both!        From Joshua North-Shea:   Bamboo flutes, handcrafted and mathematically tuned.     May Craft Night    Put a Frame On It   What:      Renew dull photo frames with                       wallpaper!  Make a special Mother's Day,                    Wedding or Graduation gift.     When:     Thursday, May 2nd, 5-8pm   We will supply small thrift-store picture frames and paper for decopaging.   Cost:   $10            SPACE IS LIMITED                                                 Please reply to this email if you would like to attend, or click the photos below and go to our Facebook Event page.
